I.T.A.L.Y.�s First Week Gross Reaches to Php13.2 Million

Contrary to rumors that the romantic comedy I.T.A.L.Y. earned P40 million on its first day (read article here), Box Office Mojo has released the actual 1st week gross of the GMA Films movie.

According to the data gathered by the American website, I.T.A.L.Y. starring Jolina Magdangal Dennis Trillo, Eugene Domingo, and Rufa Mae Quinto collected Php13.2 Million on its opening weekend which put the movie at no. 11 in the list of weekend gross for pinoy films. �Sukob� could still be the All-Time no. 1 Pinoy movie as �A Very Special Love� registered P179,212,304.00 on its 8th week. We shall see if the Sarah-John Lloyd movie lasts until week 9 in order to beat Sukob�s record of P186.41 million. Nevertheless, �A Very Special Love� remains the no. 1 pinoy movie of 2008.
