"You Changed My Life" Earned 100 Million Pesos in Less Than a Week

Star Cinema�s record-breaking movie �You Changed My Life� starring the box-office tandem of John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo earned a record-breaking 27 million pesos last Saturday, February 28, to be on track of surpassing the 100 million pesos mark on its first week of screening.

On it�s first day of showing, the movie which received a "A" rating from Cinema Evaluation Board (CEB), has earned an estimate of 18 million pesos according to Star Cinema Booking and Distribution Department. Although Star Cinema did not reveal the box-office outcome for Thursday, Friday and Sunday, showbiz observers are optimistic that the movie will hit 100 million pesos in box-office receipts come Monday.

Based from the public�s overwhelming response in theaters across the country last weekend, You Changed My Life is on track to surpass the earning of "A Very Special Love", the no. 1 movie of 2008. The first John Lloyd Cruz-Sarah Geronimo starrer has grossed a total of 180 million pesos in total receipt.
